Two Modes...
Basically, JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) has two modes. The first mode is the main management of your business and the second mode is the reseller system. The reseller system covers everything from your downline (people who have signed up as a reseller underneath you) through to managing your own promo materials for selling more packages of JVManager(R)
2 Fantasos(R) as a reseller.
This is nearly as comprehensive as the main product itself, and something I have yet to really dig deep into.
The tracking system was tested and verified on our servers and the reseller functions seems to be working just fine...we just haven't had time to play with all of the functions yet.
Confusing, but functional
As I previously mentioned, the entire system can appear a little daunting at first...there's 8 or so panels to work through and get accustomed with, which all act as a different function of the entire package.
It took me a few hours to really get settled in and feeling comfortable with the different features and functions, but what is great about JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) is that the interface is easy to work with and there's not confusing navigation. All of the learning curve comes from knowing which features will be best suited for your business and learning how to use the different aspects together and get everything uploaded and running.
Store creation boasts a world of features
When you arrive inside the JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) user interface, you're going to see the tabs across the top of the screen which are set out in a logical sense, relating to the steps you need to take (nice touch!).
The first two are the basics like mode toggle (between reseller and end user) and profile. Then, the next tab is where the magic begins to happen. This is the "Store" tab and after a quick rollover of your mouse, you see a drop down list of all the features...
Online Retailers & Payment Gates
Ok, the first step inside the Store tab is choosing or adding your payment gate or online retailer to your new template. There's a host of popular payment processors and online retailers, from Paypal, 2Checkout, Authorize.net through to Google Checkout and more.
And the best part is, if your chosen payment processor/online retailer isn't on the list, you simply click add new. The other benefit is that JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) also supports offline payment processors for more traditional brick and mortar type businesses who already have offline payment processors for their business.
Packages
This is the next option after Payment Gates/Online Retailers, but we did find this a little confusing. Basically, this is an option to create a brand new package with global options and settings, which you can use as a template. Or alternatively, you can load a premade template that comes bundled in the script if you want to save time setting your first system up. We later found out that this is an important step to take, because basically a package is the base of everything you add later on...a bit like a pizza dough base, and all the products and sales material are the toppings.
So, when you come to add all the other elements to your sales system, you append them to a chosen package...which can either be a template or a package that you have specifically made in this step.
Products
This is the most comprehensive set of options I've seen when coming to add a product to a download script. That's not a bad thing, as you get to detail the title, description, price, time available for, access restrictions, recurring payments, affiliate commission amounts, charity commission amounts and charity details, points and reward options for customers (very cool!), html based editor to give delivery instructions to your customers, one time offers, autoresponder integration, which payment gate you want to use, download limits, coupons, product images and subscriptions...
...phew, that's some detail! You can then click a button and all of these details get added to the package (or template) of your choosing.
Minisites
Minisites were a little confusing to us at first, but essentially what they do is allow you to fill out a form and it spits out all the sales and order pages that allow your customers to actually go through the process of paying you money!
You tick some boxes and then create your own design in the built in html visual editor and it creates a fully coded site that is ready to take orders.
Now this is cool, because one of the things many of us get caught up on is not just setting up all our scripts and coding, but actually putting all the scripts and codes into an actual webpage. This function removes the pain quite well, and is fully customizable, with the option to preview created pages in your browser before attaching these pages to your sales package. A big plus in our book for sure.
Shopping Carts
The shopping cart feature is actually pretty similar to the Minisites creation approach, with less options and slightly different features. Basically, the shopping cart feature allows you to either open up existing shopping cart templates to embed into your webpages or to create a brand new shopping cart from the ground up.
Don't worry if you're not a technical whizkid either...this is as simple as pie with the user friendly interface. It's as easy as opening email or filling out a simple online form.
OTOs
For those unfamiliar with the abbreviation OTOs, this stands for One Time Offers. One Time Offers are a powerful sales technique which should ideally be a part of your sales funnel if you want to extract the maximum amount of sales per order.
One time offers work well because they capture people in the buying mode, with their credit card details in hand...and that's where the visitor's guard is down and they are ready to buy from you. When people are in the state, they are far more receptive to additional offers that offer value to what they are already going to buy, and these types of offers are always a great "no brainer" deal that is only ever offered at that exact moment to that customer.
This makes customers feel the sense of urgency and great value all in one. However, many of us have been plagued with creating one time offers that seamlessly integrate into our ordering process, and that are only physically open to that person just once.
JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) deals with this task with a few simple form submissions and a click of a button. You simply give the offer a new name, a description and then proceed to craft your sales message using the built in html visual editor. Then finish up the simple form below and add the offer to the package you're working on. It's painfully simple and this is a great feature that works really well.
What JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) offers that many other OTO scripts does not, is the ability for you to add in unlimited amounts of OTO's...this is a feature that can really increase the bottom line of each and every sale you make.
Essential stuff for adding to your bottom line, particularly useful when paying for advertising and wanting to turn a profit!
Downloads
The downloads tab offers a simple form for adding your actual product downloads, where you enter the URL locations of the product on your server, a username and password to access them and you can even upload the product files instead of linking to them with a URL. Very simple, works like a charm for adding your products into the system. No expensive FTP software required here!
Membership Management
JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) caters to a growing trend of membership based income sites. The script allows you to run your own membership based service, whether the content and service is all hosted on your own server or remotely, via Fantasos' own servers.
This is a really powerful feature that gives you 3 different options:
1. Local Memberships (Use this option for running memberships that are run from the same server where Fantasos (R) is installed)
2. Remote Memberships (Use this option for running memberships anywhere you like, from any server)
3. ContePass (Use this option if you are running a membership that is managed with Contepass content management services script)
This level of
flexibility allows you to successfully run a membership on different levels, whilst seamlessly
integrating your content, affiliate programs, stats and everything else your business needs inside JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) system.
Multiple plugins available
For added
flexibility and functionality (and as if the core script wasn't enough!) you also have the ability to add multiple plugins into your script which each serve a specific purpose:
Kunaki is a fulfillment house which will deliver your CDs and DVDs to your customers door. With the Kunaki plugin running inside your JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) script, you can automate the entire process of orders and fulfillment! Truly amazing...
This plugin allows you to offer personalized pages for your affiliates that include the promotional materials for a certain package with their affiliate ID and name embedded without the need to login to Fantasos. This can be used multiple times without a repurchase required!
This plugin allows you to display a price that changes in real time according to the configuration setup inside the product's record. Use this for creating a genuine sense of urgency to increase sales, plus many other creative uses such as dime sales and
special offers for certain times of the month/year etc.
This plugin is one of our favourites, as it allows you to automate one of the most important aspects of your sales process - getting proof that your stuff works! The plugin allows you to centralize your testimonials for any and all of your products no matter where the product's sales page is resided, which really helps with organization! Your customers can click and add their testimonial, their website's title and URL, their image and even link or upload a video.
This cool little plugin allows you to load in html files into your script, which then are turned into pdf files that are delivered to your customers. These pdf files carry "tags" which basically
represent unique information such as order IDs etc, and are displayed inside the pdf document
automatically on each sale...a great tool for tracking
license usage, copyright theft, or simply providing the customer with further personalization INSIDE their actual pdf product! Not to mention other creative uses, such as imbedding your additional affiliate links etc.
This works much like the Brandable PDFs from above, except is designed for sending order specific invoices to your customers. Both the
Brandable PDFs and Invoice plugins come with ready made templates too!
This is a built in autoresponder that allows you to send emails automatically after a specific purchase. For example, a customer might buy a product and part of the product might be a 7 day email course. This plug in will allow you to deliver that email course automatically after the sale has been made. You can also use this for any creative purposes, such as allowing your affiliates to send emails with THEIR embedded affiliate links in each mail automatically, so they increase their chances of making the sale.
This is a very powerful plugin for JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R). This plug allows you to take full control of all your links, such as:
* You can create aliases and thus hide the actual URL of the link and also apply TONS of filters and restrictions to the Short URLs Pro you create:
* You can add a link that is inside a password protected area.
* You can limit the IP addresses that can access the link: globally and on users' level.
* You can limit the number of downloads of a link: globally and on users' level.
* You can allow people to use the link when they are inside specific pages, thus for example they can access Link X ONLY from http://www.serverhere.com/members.html page and NOT directly
* You can expire the link.
Furthermore, you can specific the availability of each link, depending on a wide range of options. For example, you could choose to have the link only available to your top selling affiliates, or only available to people who haven't made a purchase...there's tons of filters to give you many creative options to manage your links, products and services with this plugin.
This plugin allows you to manage JV events, such as cross promotions where several partners are involved. Basically, you are able to use this plugin to upload and store all of the corresponding partner products conveniently in one location and take full control over the customer access. This is perfect for large promotions and multiple JV partners coming together for a one off event.
Taxes
This is a very simple form to add your applicable taxes to your product sales and membership sites, for obvious reasons....very important. Nothing special to report about this, but still a very wise feature that many competitive scripts seem to overlook.
Fantasos (R) as a stand alone reseller business
Many people who use this script also enjoy the benefits of reselling the package to other customers. Some even base their entire business model around reselling various packages that make up the script.
Users are able to determine their own custom packages that they would like to resell to other business owners, for example:
Bob might wish to resell minisites only to his customers, whereas Sally might want to sell the entire script to her customers.
This is all easily handled by the "Privileges" function which sets the level of features to be sold in the reseller account. Furthermore, the full hosted account offered by Fantasos (R) allows its' users to actually resell hosted accounts too, giving a full spectrum of packages available to sell to other business owners online.
It's like a retailer becoming a wholesaler alongside their standard retail business!
Track your customers the right way...
Many sales and order processing scripts simply provide the mechanics to take the money and deliver the product, but what we liked about JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) was the meticulous attention to detail when it comes to the equally important statistical data.
One of the strong points of JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) is the "Customers" tab, which comes directly after the main "Store" setup tab. Here, you get to track all your sales, using a host of filters to track down a single sale based on a number of different options, or simply see sales stats from certain time periods, product type, payment processor or even based on the customer country.
This level of tracking is seriously powerful, as you can really see where your money is coming from and where there may be weaknesses in your business.
You can also use this level of tracking to withstand fraudulent claims or problem customers because you have the solid data to make a case and defend claims (which we hope you never have to do!).
You can also search for orders placed by their ID, or even sales made through an individual affiliate. So next time one of your affiliate claims they have made more sales than you have paid them for, you can cross check your stats for that affiliate and see the truth...very powerful indeed!
Get a grip on your sales force!
Sales people can be a wild old bunch of folks, but we found that JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) makes the entire process of tracking, managing and even rewarding your affiliates a total breeze.
We got 3 testers to sign up as affiliates, so we could see how the affiliate management system works.
What we love are the little touches that add a certain amount of professional edge, such as the ability to split your affiliates into groups. We decided to put one of our test affiliates into a higher tier payment group because she was performing better than the other two and then added a new welcome message which she received after we moved her, which told her what a great job she was doing and the reason why she was moved and how much money she will now be making as a result!
It's like having your own in-house HR team, promoting your best staff and sending salary increase letters to them automatically!
You can also search for all commissions generated by your affiliates and then proceed to make a mass payment via Paypal to all your team of affiliates...you can also set the date range that you want to pay them for using an inbuilt calendar.
Tools put you in total control
The other significant section in the management area is the tools section. Here is a wide range of tools to help you take total control over your marketing business.
Firstly, you can use the statistics section within the Tools tab to run all sorts of data, such as:
- Sales statistics
- Top customers by number of sales
- Top customers by amount of sales
- Top affiliates by number of commissions
- Top affiliates by amount of commissions
- Top affiliates by amount of sales
- Top affiliates by ratio
- Top packages by number of sales
- Top packages by amount of sales
- Top packages by ratio
- Top products by number of sales
- Top products by amount of sales
- Top referrers by clicks
- Last N buyers of a Package
As you can see, there's plenty of data to help you see what is really going on behind the scenes in your business. By gathering all of this data, it becomes so much easier to see who is making the big sales, who is struggling, which products are really shifting numbers and who your biggest customers are.
As you can imagine, this sort of information is absolutely crucial if you want to move ahead of the competition. Many small online business owners will simply take everything on face value and because they don't have such
in-depth stats at their fingertips, they cannot see where their business is working and failing, so they continue to plough money and time into the wrong things.
The 80/20 rule applies...
But we know that being able to see who your biggest customers are is crucial, as the 80/20 rule dictates: 80% of your sales come from 20% of your customers...so wouldn't it make sense to know who that 20% actually are and treat them like GOLD?
Plus you've got the obvious stats which are crucial, such as which products are performing well too. But another key aspect of these stats is the fact that just like you can pinpoint your best customer, you can also pinpoint your best affiliates!
"Perfect customer, meet perfect salesperson!"
This means, you can reward and nurture your best sales staff as the 20% of your affiliates are bringing in 80% of the sales in most cases. Now imagine this:
Why not bring your TOP affiliates and your TOP customers together to literally EXPLODE your sales? This is something that got us really excited to see, and there are not many scripts that offer such a wide array of features and management controls that also hand you detailed stats on this level.
At which point, we're struggling to see any real flaws in this product at all...and yes, we know that looks bad when doing a review, but this has to be said... JVManager(R) 2 Fantasos(R) is one heck of a product.
